My name is NITYA
A UX Research Leader with 12+ years of experience, a love for asking the right questions, and a track record of shaping products that didn’t exist before I touched them.
I began my UX journey as a UX Developer, detoured through design, and ultimately found my passion in research — because uncovering the why before jumping into the what is where the magic begins for me.
While I started in consulting, I quickly fell for the messy, exhilarating world of product. Since then, I’ve spent most of my career bringing novel ideas to life — taking products from 0 to 1, often in spaces where no blueprint existed. From postage printers with 4-inch screens to cashierless checkout-free stores wired wall-to-wall with sensors, I’ve worked across the spectrum of physical and digital experiences.
Most recently, I’ve been enhancing productivity for BCG’s global consultants — exploring how AI, spatial computing, and mixed reality can power the future of work, while ensuring every change feels seamless.
I bring impact not only through research execution, but by teaching teams to translate data into narratives that build empathy and drive action across an organization.
I hold a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering, which together give me a sharp eye for both people and systems. I’ve managed and mentored growing teams, built scalable toolkits, and consistently worked to embed research deeply into the product development lifecycle.
If I had to break my UX career into quarters:
📦 B2B for small businesses
🏢 B2B2C enterprise tools
🛍️ B2C experiences
👔 B2Employee innovation
It’s been a ride across industries, devices, and disciplines — And at the center of it all? A deep belief that thoughtful research can unlock better decisions, better products, and better lives.
